Cello player and teacher
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’m a cellist recording for film, TV, and singer-songwriters, while also teaching a studio of cello students. My love for music began in childhood and deepened while performing The Planets with the CSUN Youth Orchestra — a moment that revealed music’s invisible, powerful force.
I hold a degree in cello performance from Lawrence University and completed Suzuki teacher training, focusing on joy and tone over competition. I’ve taught at programs like Sense of Wonder and the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute, and also draw from yoga teacher training to support mindful, body-aware music-making.
Recording credits include work with Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven), John Zarcone, Osei Essiedu, and contributions to artists like corook, Golda May, and more.
